A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section
twenty-three, relating to authorizing the real estate
appraiser licensing and certification board to promulgate a
legislative rule relating to the requirements for licensure
and certification.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty-
three, to read as follows:
]ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS TO
PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-23. Real estate appraiser licensing and certification board.

The legislative rule filed in the state register on the second
day of July, two thousand one, under the authority of section nine,
article thirty-eight, chapter thirty, of this code, modified by the
real estate appraiser licensing and certification board to meet the
objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and
refiled in the state register on the fifteenth day of August, two
thousand one, relating to the real estate appraiser licensing and
certification board (requirements for licensure and certification,
190 CSR 2), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Real Estate
Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board to promulgate a
legislative rule relating to the Requirements for Licensure and
Certification.
